Host DAN NIGHTINGALE introduces double headliners PAUL TONKINSON and SOL BERNSTEIN.

PAUL TONKINSON is a sensational live performer, Yorkshire man, marathon runner and former (double award-winning) Time Out Comedian of the Year. He’s long upheld his esteemed reputation as one of the finest stand-ups the UK has to offer. With a unique and distinctive style, Tonkinson is noted for his effervescent physicality and skillful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. As seen on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

SOL BERNSTEIN is a singer, dancer, comedian, magician, actor and musician. Having been rated Best Triangle Player by Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington in the 1950s, he went on to perform across the globe at venues such as The London Palladium, New York’s Carnegie Hall and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Besides his work with Elvis, The Beatles and Judy Garland, he’s also been friends and worked with greats such as The Rat Pack, Lenny Bruce, Jack Benny, George Burns and Milton Berle. He also played for Miles Davis. Now in his 80s, he still performs at all the top UK clubs.

DAN NIGHTINGALE, widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today, is our resident MC. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, poignant and exciting; sometimes ridiculous… but always hilarious. As well as being a top-class circuit headliner and in-demand MC, he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, John Bishop and Celebrity Juice.
